Gap to move into China

Gap, the US clothing retailer, has revealed plans to enter into the Chinese market.

Gap will open four stores and launch an online site towards the end of this year.

The retailer said it would open two stores in Beijing, including one on Wangfujing, the capital's main shopping street, and two in Shanghai.
