H&M to open store in Turkey

Turkey- Fashion retailer H&M has signed a contract to open its first store in Turkey.

The 2,300 square metre store will be located in Forum Istanbul, one of the largest shopping centres in Turkey.

Karl-Johan Persson, CEO of H&M said: “We are very pleased to open our first store in Turkey. It is an interesting market with a large, young and fashion-conscious population, which offers great potential for future expansion.”

The store is set to open in November 2010.
