Heron International submits plans for City of London scheme

8 March 2010

Property group Heron International has submitted a planning application to build a £500million hotel, residential and retail development in the City of London, which will be called the Heron Plaza.

The group plans to build a 43-story tower that includes a Four Seasons Hotel. The tower will also comprise 190 hotel guestrooms/suites and 120 residences, conference and banqueting facilities, a gym, spa and swimming pool.

The Plaza will also create new public space with shops and cafes.

The plans form the final phase of works around the Heron Tower, a 46-story office building which is currently under construction.
